Three Rivers Construction Advances I-24 Mill and Overlay Project in Rutherford County

Three Rivers Construction is completing asphalt paving work on a TDOT mill and overlay project along 7.75 miles of I-24 in Rutherford County, Tennessee.
The project covers eight travel lanes, inside and outside shoulders, and three exit ramps, totaling nearly 63 lane miles of paving. Crews are placing approximately 44,000 tons of asphalt as part of the roadway improvements.
The work also includes extensive milling and roadway preparation, along with concrete ramp repairs, bridge joint repairs, and traffic counter loop installation performed by project subcontractors.
Projects of this scale require careful coordination, consistent production, and experienced crews working across multiple phases of construction. Three Rivers Construction is focused on keeping the work moving safely and efficiently while delivering a quality finished roadway for the traveling public.
